JUNETEENTH FREEDOM DAY CELEBRATION
The Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration is a vibrant event that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It serves as a platform for fostering unity and celebrating freedom through cultural performances, educational activities, and community engagement. This event brings together people from diverse backgrounds to honor heritage, promote understanding, and inspire positive change in the community.
PF326 SUPPORT TEAM: Community Enrichment
Our mission is to establish a safe space where people feel encouraged to ask for assistance and enhance their general mental health. In addition to supporting a community of local entrepreneurs in order to generate long-term economic possibilities and improve financial literacy. We engage with local mental health specialists to address concerns like stress, anxiety, and depression. We also conduct community workshops, provide access to counseling services, and advocate for native Gullah small businesses through resource sharing and collaboration.
GULLAH KIDS & YOUNG GULLAH
Gullah Kids (12 & under) and Young Gullah (teens & young adults) anti-violence activities and events, and access to healthcare services within the community. Our efforts include organizing fitness classes, nutrition workshops, creative arts, field trips, mindfulness sessions, and facilitating connections with local healthcare providers. Through these initiatives, the goal is to improve overall quality of life, promote self-care practices, and prioritize holistic wellness among residents. KING'S DAY UNITY PARADE
We celebrate Father's Day as Kings Day to honor and uplift the vital role of fathers and father figures in the community. This special day recognizes the contributions of these men as leaders, mentors, and role models, emphasizing their importance in fostering strong, healthy families and communities. By calling it Kings Day, the celebration aims to instill a sense of pride and respect, acknowledging the positive impact fathers have on their children's lives and the broader community. This event aligns with Project Freedom 326's mission to promote unity, holistic wellness, and anti-violence efforts, reinforcing the value of strong, supportive male figures in achieving these goals.
COLIN EADY LEGACY NETWORKING BRUNCH
The Colin Eady Legacy Brunch is a special event hosted by Project Freedom 326 to celebrate and honor the lasting impact and legacy of Colin Eady. This brunch is an opportunity for the community to come together, reflect on Eady's contributions, and recognize individuals who embody his spirit of leadership, mentorship, and community service.
